FAF defines 85 days of suspension on Paulo Talaia

Luanda - The referee Paulo Talaia saw his sanction fixed in 85 days by the Angolan Football Federation (FAF), for validating a goal allegedly nonexistent in the match of the 22nd round of national first division football championship Girabola2018, which opposed Sporting de Cabinda to Petro de Luanda, on July 7., The referee validated a goal for the home team in a dubious move whose ball was allegedly deflected on the beam in the game that ended tied for a goal. A press release which reached Angop Monday, reads that the governing body of soccer in the country indicates that the punishment counts from the date of the game. The note adds that the assistant s referees, Rodrigues Aleixo and Joaquim Chio were also sanctioned for 85 days, while the assistants Francisco Paulo and Nicodemos Calembele were deprived of exercising their activity for 60 days. The 22nd round of Girabola2018 held on July 18, between Recreativo do Libolo and Petro de Luanda, during which the FAF considers that there has been a misinterpretation of the law by the team of arbitration. All sanctioned officials are included in the national group of Referees arbitration. ,
